Bike facilities are a mixed bag. Sometimes I’d rather just take my chances rather than be “forced” into a poorly designed lane that exposes you to right hooks and being doored. Seattle has a good idea with these buffered lanes. Sadly, Florida governor Crist has just singed into law “mandatory lances” which require cyclists to use them even if they are poorly designed. –Corrie
