Snake River Avenue

You may have heard about plans for work along Snake River Avenue. It has begun.

Riding south twoard Hell’s Gate State Park on Wednesday, I saw big equipment near the trail just below the radio station. They were preparing a tunnel to go under the road to proivde bike and pedestrian access to and from thte trail. We can probably thank Lynn Moss for this.

As far as I know none of this work should have much impact on trail-users (us) until it is finished. Then we may have a safer street for cycling and better access.
