Bicycling, and coding, for the love of Alpine mountains

Yeah, I’ll ride around a hill if I can. Go looking for one? Not so much, but I know some guys like that. Read about the plan to ride all the passes ion the Alps and then visit the linked site CyclingtheAlps.com. You’ll need GoogleEarth installed to fully enjoy it, but for climbing fools, it will be worht it. For the rest of us, this may be the closest we’ll ever get to bicycling the Alps. Lucky us!–Corrie

Some bicyclists will do anything to avoid a climb. They route their rides through the flat lands and never taste the challenge of vertical exertion.

At the other extreme is Dennis Wegewijs, a German bicycling enthusiast who searches out the most difficult climbs — namely Alpine passes — to summit on his bicycle with his friends.
