Bicyclists push back against proposed National parks and forests rule

This hurts me more than you. Yeah, cycling isn’t safe, so it hurts you to protect me by banning me from the roads? It makes no since when the argument is based on cyclist safety. We don’t ban the use of automobiles though their use is responsible for far more deaths and injuries than bicycles.

We need to defend our right to use public roads and we need to learn to use those roads in a predictable manner. What we don’t need are mandatory sidepath laws. –corrie

Here we are in the second decade of the 21st century, and bicyclists are forced to petition their Senators to retain their legal rights to the road.
